At the top of the Cinque Vele ranking of Legambiente and Touring club, published today, we find Ogliastra with the Baunei district.
In all there are 15 seaside locations and seven lakeside areas awarded the Cinque Vele 2020; places where you can «spend a holiday that respects the environment, nature and clean water, but also excellent food and wine and places of art».
There are five Sardinian districts that have obtained the Five Sails: in addition to the district of Baunei, in third place there is the coast of Chia with the municipality of Domus De Maria and then the Planargia, Bosa, Pula and the district of Arbus.
The ranking of the regions sees Sardinia in first place, followed by Tuscany and Puglia with three five-sail areas, Campania with two, Liguria and Sicily with one.
A great success for Ogliastra and Sardinia, which are confirmed to be destinations immersed in an uncontaminated nature.
