Sardinian Village Party A weekly “Sardinian village party” is organized on the large lawn outside the Spa in the Natural Park. An evening where guests can experience all aspects of Sardinian traditions. Various types of tasting sessions are offered on the five corners of this large lawn: roasting meat on a spit, processing milk into cheese and aromatic ricotta, frying the fish of the day, preparing ravioli and pistoccu (a typical Sardinian bread), Sardinian sweets, watermelon, tomatoes from our Garden and much more. All around, the work tables of a range of craftsmen, whether it be the cutlery-maker, the distiller, the goldsmith, the carpenter or the wool weaver. A real, living showcase of Sardinian traditions in all their fullness.
Our Shepherd If you take a daily walk through the Resort, you might come across our Shepherd Sergio. He will offer you freshly prepared cheese and ricotta, ember cooked potatoes and eggs, pistocco, a typical Sardinian bread cooked in a wood-burning oven, and a glass of Cannonau wine.
The bread ladies On any day you might stumble upon the bread ladies in different parts of the Resort. Dressed in traditional Ogliastra costume, they will be buckling down to make bread, pasta, culurgiones (Sardinian potato ravioli), seadas (a deep fried Sardinian dessert) and many other traditional Sardinian dishes.
“A Chent’annos… a tavola” This event began with the aim of allowing guests to enjoy modern takes on local Ogliastra dishes, with the interpretations of the illustrious Chefs who will take part in the event. A journey to discovering a cuisine that is characterized by simple peasant ingredients which constitute some of the fundamental pillars of a long life.
InCantos / Sound of Sardinia: A music festival that offers a new way of experiencing the island’s real identity and beauty, featuring prominent artists of the Sardinian music scene. Artists perform on a natural stage overlooking the sea, in one of the many bays nestled between the gently-rolling granite cliffs of the peninsula.
