Arbatax Park Resort organized an ecological day  ♻ with the aim of preserving a portion of the coastline and promoting the care and respect of beaches throughout Sardinia and, by extension, the entire world.

Volunteers cleaned up the beaches of Porto Frailis and Arenas Beach.

The event was included on the map of actions for Let’s do it Italy , in conjunction with World Cleanup Day 2024, on September 20th.

Program: 

• Porto Frailis beach

9:00 am – Meeting at the chosen location and distribution of materials for waste collection
9:30 am – Start of the waste collection
12:30 pm – End of activities, followed by greetings and thanks

• Arenas beach

9:30 am – Start of underwater activities with divers cleaning the seabed
11:30 am – Conclusion with greetings and thanks

• VIK Garden

8:30 am – Meeting with the 3A and 3B classes from Istituto Comprensivo 1 Tortolì, Central Plesso, Village Plesso, and Zinnias Plesso
9:00 am – Start of educational activities, including a walk in the Garden of Wonders and the Farm
12:30 pm – End of activities, followed by greetings and thanks

Various associations, both local and otherwise, participated in the event, including:
Tugulu Trasporti and the Vele Corsare Association 

The event was sponsored by the Municipality of Tortolì, free of charge.
