Arbatax Park Resort participates in the “Oasi delle Api” reforestation project by Treeonfy

Arbatax Park Resort announces its participation in an initiative that embodies the values of sustainability and environmental protection that have always inspired its philosophy and commitment to safeguarding the territory and its natural resources. On October 6th, the Resort took part in the “Oasi delle Api” event, hosted at Tenute Il Maggese, in collaboration with “Treeonfy. This project, founded by Andrea Piras, is dedicated to reforestation and biodiversity protection, with a strong connection to the Sardinian territory.

The event marks an important step in the fight against climate change and the promotion of eco-sustainable practices, topics that are close to the resort’s heart. During the day, over 400 plants were planted with the aim of contributing to local biodiversity and, in particular, to the protection of bees, a species crucial for the ecosystem and for maintaining the planet’s natural balance. Bees play a vital role in plant reproduction through pollination, thereby supporting agricultural production and biodiversity.

In line with its ongoing commitment to sustainability, Arbatax Park Resort made its contribution with the participation of volunteers who assisted with the activities of the day, directly collaborating in the planting and providing logistical support to the organization. This involvement represents not only a way for the resort to demonstrate its environmental responsibility concretely but also an opportunity to raise awareness within the community about the need to protect endangered species and the importance of reforestation initiatives.

These activities further strengthen our commitment to sustainability, highlighting why, for years, we have been recognized as the Best Eco Resort in the World. Voting for this prestigious award has been open since September 23rd and will conclude on October 20th. Every initiative undertaken represents a significant step toward achieving this coveted prize.

Furthermore, this project is part of a series of actions the resort has launched to reduce the environmental impact of its activities, focusing on renewable energy, waste reduction, and promoting eco-friendly practices among guests and staff.
