The 32nd World Spearfishing Championship ended this evening.
In the wonderful location of Arbatax, the national delegations competed over 2 amazing days to win the world title.
Giacomo De Mola won the title of World Spearfishing Champion, followed by Spain’s Oscar Cervantes Riera and Croatia’s Stiepko Kesic. The trophy returns to Italy 17 years after the last victory.
Italy also won the gold for the team trophy, second was Spain and third was Greece.
For the first time the Women’s World Championship was held.
