After some years of stopping (the last edition dates back to 2014), one of the most popular film festivals returns to Arbatax: „Cal’a Cinema„, organized by the association „MusikaSurda„, now in its seventh edition. Three public film screenings, from August 1st to 3rd 2019 in the beautiful location of Cala Genovesi in Arbatax.
The name of the event leads back to the place where the cultural event has always been organized (Cala Genovesi) and plays on the Sardinian expression „cala a cinema“ (go down to the cinema).

Thursday, August 1, 9pm: „Travolti da un insolito destino nell’azzurro mare d’agosto“ by Lina Wertmuller
Friday, August 2, 9pm: „Il flauto magico di Piazza Vittorio“ by Gianfranco Cabiddu
Saturday, August 3, 9pm: „L’uomo che comprò la luna“ by Paolo Zucca
